Singapore’s Changi Airport is a hub for Qantas and Jetstar flights in Asia. As such, Qantas Business Lounge Singapore is just one of the Qantas’ lounges here. There is also a Qantas Singapore first class lounge, but this Qantas Lounge Singapore review is only about the business class lounge which I have visited a few times recently.

It’s actually one of my favourite lounges. Every time I have visited this Qantas Lounge Singapore Airport, I have loved the big open spaces, terminal views and the great range of food and drink.

Although what really makes it for me is the great service. I especially like it when flying home after a longer trip as it does feel like a little piece of (very well presented) Australia.

Below, I share exactly what you can expect from this Singapore Airport Qantas lounge including a full video walk through, the facilities, the food and drink on offer and how to get here. You’ll soon know everything there is to know about the Qantas lounge Singapore Airport.

Business Qantas Lounge In Singapore Review

The Qantas lounge Singapore opening hours are from 2:30pm until after all flights depart.

This was tested on my most recent visit when our flight was delayed five hours and departed at 1:30am. It did remain open and I had a whopping nine hours in this lounge! I have never been so thankful to have lounge access.

Qantas Business Class Lounge Singapore Location

This Qantas Lounge Changi Airport is located in Terminal 1. Simply turn left after you pass through immigration and follow the signs. If you come from a different terminal, again, follow the lounge signs.

They are quite visible.

It doesn’t take long to get to the escalator where you’ll find the Qantas Business Lounge at the top.

The only time it’s difficult to get here is if you are flying Jetstar. Now that Jetstar has been moved to Terminal 4 at Singapore Airport, it’s a bit of a mission to make it to the lounge. You’ll need to check-in at Terminal 4 and then travel to Terminal 1 to find the lounge and then travel back again for your flight.

I wouldn’t recommend this unless you are at least 2.5 hours early. Even then, only if you like moving round fast and don’t mind a little anxiety about getting to your flight in time.

My husband did do this earlier this year when he was transiting and had a fair bit of time to kill. Otherwise, it may be (sadly) better to give the Qantas lounge at Singapore Airport a miss 🙁

Inside The Qantas Business Lounge Changi Airport

Overall, the Qantas Lounge Singapore Changi Airport is in great condition. It’s big with many different seating areas, plenty of food and drink areas, a great bar area and more. It’s clean, modern and, all up, a great place to spend time.

The first thing I noticed was all the space, the comfortable, but sleek, modern look and the big bar. It didn’t take long for me to get myself a welcome drink. This “East Side Garden” was delicious.

When you walk in, the big bar area is right in front of you. You can then choose to keep walking straight and to the right for the food areas or walk to the left for the big lounge areas.

Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong and somewhere to get a drink is always nearby.

Seating area

There is a ton of seating in this area including single lounge chairs, bench chairs and dining chairs with big tables.

Many of the coffee tables have international power points and USB charging points in the leg of the table which is very handy. Check you will be sitting at one before you sit down.

There are two different drink areas where you can help yourself to hot drinks, soft drinks, various forms of water and a good selection of wine.

Unfortunately, there is no family/kid play area or any napping area. The latter I would have loved when I was stuck here very late with my 7 year old. I had to try to convince him to nap on the narrow bench seats which were hard to access as lots of adults were also trying to sleep on them.

There are also big bathrooms with Qantas Lounge Singapore showers available.

Qantas Lounge Singapore Dining Options

If you walk straight past the bar and to the right, instead of lounge seating areas, you’ll find multiple eating options and plenty of tables and seating.

There are a few different dining options. This includes a long serving area with various salads and desserts. There’s a great variety of salads. Behind this is a drink serving area.

Another long self-service area had hot dishes to pick between as well as a drinks area.

Between these two areas was a chef who could whip you up one of two dishes. When I was last there, this was laksa or pasta with meatballs. Another time was the options above.

You definitely won’t go hungry here.

What I also liked was that occasionally, a staff member will come around the lounge with something special for guests as well. I had some great ice cream this way!

It made me feel very welcome and special.

Final Words

This is a great, big lounge absolutely perfect for transits in Singapore or before your onward or return flight out of here.

It’s comfortable, there are tons of seating choices, great food and many drink options.

I loved eating here and having a drink. Even better is the great hospitality from the staff. I always feel very welcome here.

Overall, I highly recommend this lounge. It’s one of my favourites and you’ll feel like you’re already home if you’re headed back to Australia 🙂
