Lexis Hibiscus Review
Address: 12th Mile, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
The Lexis Hibiscus has it all! If you are looking for a best beach hotel in Port Dickson which also has rooms on the water with private pools, this is the option for you!
Located in the southern part of Port Dickson, this Port Dickson hotel on the sea is in a stunning location. There is a great beach for you to relax on specially as Pantai Cermin runs right up to the resort. There are also water sports.
The water can be a bit murky, and if you are looking for a beach to swim at, another Port Dickson resort near beach option from this list could be a better choice. But it’s fine for making sandcastles, relaxing and riding on a banana boat!
The Hibiscus is famous for its villas being arranged in a hibiscus shape in the water as pictured above. These villas are just superb too with two big beds, under water viewing panels and all amenities you would expect from a Port Dickson 5-star beach resort.
The best part, however, is definitely the private infinity pools on the balcony. You can also use your own private sauna.
This hotel near beach in Port Dickson also has many facilities so you never need to leave including a pool, the water activities mentioned above, many restaurants, indoor playcentre/kids club, playroom, karaoke and more.
This is definitely our favourite option of the Port Dickson beach resort list as long as you don’t mind not having a perfect beach.

There is nothing better than sitting in your own private pool over the sea in your private overwater villa. This resort has our favourite rooms of any in Malaysia.

Avillion Port Dickson Review
Address: 3rd Mile, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
The Avillion Port Dickson is my top recommendation if you are looking for a hotel Port Dickson near beach option. It’s located right next to Saujana Beach which is one of the top beaches in the area. As well as a lovely beach, Saujana Beach has a playground and a night market and many stalls.
This hotel near PD beach is gorgeous. It’s set in beautiful gardens and has a petting zoo, orchid enclosure and a butterfly aviary.
You can also relax in one of the multiple pools including an adults-only pool and one with a small water slide. This P.D. beach resort also has many restaurants and lounges as well as water sports and a gym.
The rooms themselves are great with over-water chalets and land options available. We love the over-water chalets which are spacious and well presented with enough room for a family of four or perfect for a romantic break or honeymoon.

Thistle Port Dickson Review

The Thistle is another top choice particularly if you are looking for a Port Dickson hotel with private beach. This private beach Port Dickson hotel is just a couple of kilometres from the Ostrich Farm and popular Teluk Kemang beach; you aren’t going to miss out on the beach or the Port Dickson action here!
There are many facilities including a massive, free-form pool which is perfect to cool down or to spend some quality time doing not much. There is also a playground, lego room and kids club making this a top choice of a PD beach resort for families. Adults may prefer the gym, golf course, bike hire, water sports or the day spa. There is a lot to do at the Thistle!
When you get hungry or thirsty you are well catered to with three restaurants with a variety of cuisines and two bars. At night, you can party in a nightclub!
There are many room types perfect for couples as well as family rooms complete with bunk beds. You can pay extra to be seafront. I love that many rooms have day beds by the windows so you can relax while taking in the view. There are some luxury suites for a special treat.
This hotel in Port Dickson with private beach is perfect for anyone looking for a top hotel with tons of facilities in addition to easy beach access so you never have to leave.
On the downside, this resort is aging and could do with a full renovation. I wouldn’t rate it at 5 stars at the moment. However, it is still good value for the price you pay.

Villea Port Dickson Review

The Villea Port Dickson (formerly known as PNB Ilham) has one of the best locations in Port Dickson thanks to being right by the Blue Lagoon – one of the best beaches. It’s also very close to Tanjung Tuan and Cape Rachado which are great areas to explore and hike.
This beachfront hotel Port Dickson offers has many facilities including two pools, gym, table tennis and water activities. There are four dining options here, including room service and more places by the beach to eat.
This PD hotel with beach views has a variety of room types from a standard hotel room to two and three bedroom apartments. They come with fans, air-conditioners and the apartments have kitchens (although not fully stocked), dining and living areas. They are quite spacious.
The biggest problem with this hotel at Port Dickson near the beach is that many of the rooms are old and could do with a renovation. Also, cleanliness, in general, is a problem at this resort. I think this makes it a little overpriced.
However, among these Port Dickson resorts, the location is impossible to beat. If you want to be surrounded by nature and a great beach, this resort is second to none.

Great location at Blue Lagoon. The big apartments which are great for groups and families.
Worst Parts?
Some rooms need renovating and cleanliness could be improved.

Ancasa Residences Review

Ancasa Residences is a great choice of a hotel in Port Dickson with beach as you are located right on the popular Teluk Kemang beach. It’s perfect for those wanting to spend time at a good beach and to do things like swim or enjoy water sports.
At this Port Dickson hotel beside beach, you’ll also find a large pool, gym, three dining options and spa treatments. You can sing away at karaoke and then enjoy some room service in your room.
This is the best hotel in Port Dickson for those wanting to self-cater. There are many apartments available here with up to three bedrooms making this a great option for families and groups.
There is much to like about this resort. However, it also gets mixed reviews thanks to the fact that there isn’t much car parking available. On the upside, many rooms have been recently renovated.

Corus Paradise Resort Review
Address: 3.5 km Jalan Pantai, Taman Haji Zainal, Port Dickson
The Corus Paradise Resort is located along the beach on the Straits of Malacca and is near the main town in the area.
Apart from the beach, there are several activities that you can enjoy at the resort. Amenities include an outdoor pool with waterslides, game room, archery area and sports courts. You can eat your breakfast at the hotel’s informal restaurant. There’s also a bar and cafe where you can grab a drink and chill after a long day.
Its cosy rooms also feature free WiFi, TV, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and private bath. Meanwhile, suites come with separate living areas and some feature verandas with and direct access to the beach.
However, this hotel really needs a full renovation, so keep expectations low if you visit.

Klana Beach Resort Review
Address: Kompleks Baitulhilal, Lot 4506 Batu, 8, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
Klana Beach Resort is a good choice when you are looking for a wallet-friendly PD resort near beach option as there isn’t a beach directly at the property, but it’s just a five minute walk to the popular Teluk Kemang beach on one side and it has Pantai Purnama on the other.
You can see how close it is to Pantai Purnama in the photo below.
This is one of the Port Dickson beach resorts which is a particularly good choice for families as to has the option of family rooms and two and three bedroom apartments. Rooms all come with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and air-conditioning. The rooms are on the old side but they are a good standard for the price. Note, there is an extra charge for towels!
Outside, you’ll find three pools including a water slide in one pool and a ladies-only pool. There is a restaurant, but no alcohol is available or allowed at the property.
A huge plus for this resort is the on-site observatory. There are afternoon and evening times when you can visit and learn and see some cool things.
Best Parts?
There’s an observatory on-site! It has a nice range of facilities near two beaches.
Worst Parts?
If you like a sunset cocktail, remember that no alcohol is allowed on-site.

Bayu Beach Resort Review
Address: 4½ Miles, Jalan Pantai, Mukim, Negeri Sembilan
The Bayu Beach Resort is a great choice out of all the Port Dickson beach resort hotels if you want direct access to a great beach. The Bayu is right on Pantai Cahaya Negeri, one of the best beaches in Port Dickson. It also has a great location being opposite a food court as well.
If you tire of the beach, there is a decent sized pool with a small water slide here as well as a jacuzzi, gym, water sports and table tennis.
When hunger strikes, there are a few places to eat or have a drink both inside and out. Western, Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines are available. There is also a karaoke lounge.
There are a variety of room types to suit everyone from a queen size bed room to a double storey family room. There are also apartment style options with two or three bedrooms, perfect for groups and families.
Best Parts?
Great location near Pantai Cahaya Negeri with a great range of room types.
Worst Parts?
Unfortunately, many of the rooms are outdated and cleanliness can be an issue. Note that some of the bigger room options (like two and three bedroom options), may not have windows in all rooms.

Glory Beach Resort Review

Glory Beach Resort is a top budget to mid-range Port Dickson resort with prime beachfront access to a nice, clean beach. Located in Tanjung Gemok, this beachfront hotel in Port Dickson is close to town and many attractions in the area.
In addition to the beach, there are plenty of facilities at this hotel near beach Port Dickson. There is a great pool area, tennis court and water slides for kids. You can have a drink without leaving the pool as well thanks to the pool bar. There is also a playground, squash, beach volleyball and gym and, perhaps the best facility of all, a turtle hatchery centre. Here you can learn about and see turtles while helping a good cause.
There is a beachfront restaurant and a sports bar so you won’t go hungry and will get to enjoy the beach while you eat.
Instead of hotel rooms here, you will find apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms.
Best Parts?
The beach! It’s on a great beach. The larger apartments are also great for bigger families.
Worst Parts?
The resort has aged and needs a renovation. It is clean though.

Hotel Seri Malaysia Review
Address: Lot PT 49, Jalan Pantai Batu 4, Kampung Si Rusa, Port Dickson
The Hotel Seri Malaysia is located opposite Saujana Beach so this is great option if you want a budget hotel in Port Dickson near to beach.
In addition to the beach across the road, you also have the playground located there and many food stalls as well as the night market. This beach hotel Port Dickson offers has two pools including a kiddie pool. There is also a restaurant on-site.
Rooms come complete with wifi, air-conditioning, television and tea and coffee making facilities. There are twin and family rooms available. The family room is basically a triple room. They are old and could do with a refurbishment.
This Port Dickson beach side hotel is a good choice if you are able to score a good deal on the price if being close to a prime beach is important to you.
Best Parts?
The location is great across from the popular Saujana beach and near food stalls.
Worst Parts?
The hotel could use an upgrade.

The D’Wharf Hotel & Serviced Residence is a great choice for those after a budget hotel Port Dickson near beach option. Despite being 4-star rated, booking in advance with a great deal can push this into the budget hotel near Port Dickson beach category.
This is a hotel in PD near a small beach, although unfortunately it’s not recommended to swim at this beach – so if this is an important option for you, I recommend another one of the resorts in Port Dickson on this list. However, there is a pool where you can swim all day long. Other facilities include a playground and gym.
The location of this hotel is great. It is very central and only 160 metres from Waterfront City and close to Regina Mall, making it a great option for people who like to shop and be central to everything. It’s also new having only opened in 2018 which makes it a real bargain for the price and also means they are adding more facilities as time goes by.
There are many room types and you can chose from a more basic hotel style room to studio suites and family rooms. The rooms all come with air-conditioning, balconies, private bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities.You can chose a room with a sea view and all are of a good standard. Only the cheapest room type slides into the budget category.
There are suites that cater up to eight people making this a great choice for groups or large families. The larger suites are apartment style so perfect for people who like their space.
Best Parts?
The price! This place is a bargain.
Worst Parts?
It’s only near a small beach, and it’s not recommended to swim here. Cleanliness can be an issue.
