There are three main towns in Cameron Highlands ‒ Tanah Rata, Ringlet, and Brinchang.

Most tourists prefer to stay at the largest town, Tanah Rata, as it has a range of accommodation for a range of budgets. Everything is more accessible here as well ‒ banks, restaurants, and other essential establishments. The main bus station is also here.

Brinchang, four kilometres north, also has a good range. There are hotels sprinkled between the towns too.

Places further from this are more suitable to travellers with their own vehicle.

If you’re looking for the absolute best Cameron Highlands hotel, make sure you consider Zenith Cameron.

This new, 5-star hotel is located in the centre of Tanah Rata and has a good range of facilities. There’s a great pool surrounded by greenery, a gym and a sauna. There’s also complimentary parking and high speed internet.

If you get hungry, there is the all-day restaurant called The Dining Room, the Italian restaurant called the Oregano Lounge and The Terrace for quick bites and drinks. In Tanah Rata, you can find more eating options nearby as well.

There is a range of room types with the signature king and twin rooms being spacious with everything you need including air-conditioning, comfortable beds, minifridge and great new facilities with a lounge chair, desk area, flatscreen TV and balcony. There are also garden versions of this room type with big balcony areas.

There are family room types with big family suites made up of a king room and twin room. Or you can treat yourself to a Zenith suite or penthouse suite.

This big hotel has studio and two bedroom suites available. Even the cheapest room type comes with a kitchenette that has a minifridge and sink and is a decent size. They all also have air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, flatscreen TV and free wifi.

Two bedroom suites are perfect for families with a living area, a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a second bedroom with a queen or twin beds. There is also a dining table and kitchenette.

The Avillion Port Dickson also has a playground and on-site restaurant.

This Tudor-style country home in Ringlet will take you back in time. Overlooking the breathtaking hills and marvelous woodlands, this country house is tucked away at The Valley of Eternal Spring.

This colonial-style boutique hotel features 19 rooms finished with antique decor along with more modern amenities, such as a capsule espresso machine. Guests can choose from their Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites and Family Suites.

Furnished with ceiling beams made from the earthy element of wood, and impressive poster beds, you’re in for a treat. The hotel is also reminiscent of foreign lands, making it perfect for that drool-worthy Instagram shot.

If you’re looking for a great Cameron Highland hotel with swimming pool then this should be your top pick.There is access to a rooftop pool. However, the pool is in a different building which is quite a walk away, so it’s hard to be bothered to use it.

The downside is that these apartments are a little removed from the sights of Cameron Highlands so it’s a better pick for those that bring a car.

Sekata Apartment is located in a residential area, and it’s not convenient to access shops, restaurants and attractions. The place is ideal if you have a car with you. Be aware that the pool is not in the same building as the apartments.

Located in Kea Farm part of Brinchang, this impressive Tudor-style resort will captivate you the moment you lay your eyes on it. This useful location is close to a strawberry and butterfly farm and it’s easy to explore Cameron Highlands from here.

This midrange hotel in Brinchang offers great views of the highlands, complete with homey, traditional style wood furnishings. All in all, there are 350 rooms and suites. There are rooms in various configurations, including triples, as well as one, two and three bedroom apartments making this place perfect for couples, friends and families.

Some rooms and apartments have balconies, and all have flatscreen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and ensuite bathrooms. Apartments have comfortable living areas.

This Cameron Highland hotel and apartment is a village-like complex and also offers impressive amenities like an indoor swimming pool, a children’s playground, a sports bar and a wide range of dining options. It’s an easy place to be.

Located in Tanah Rata, this Tudor-style, 3-star hotel in Cameron Highlands is set against the backdrop of beautiful hills and mountains in the area and is one of our recommended hotels in Cameron Highlands.

If you’re looking for the best view hotel in Cameron Highlands, this midrange hotel has 238 rooms to choose from with private balconies that offer you breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Room types include Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Suites. All feature LCD TVs, coffee/tea making facilities and a minifirdge. Rooms suit up to four people with triple and quad options.

Facilities include an in-house restaurant, and a bar, an excellent place to wind down after a busy day of activities. There’s also a library and an indoor playhouse for kids.

Nova Highlands hotel is located in KEA farms, so you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking rolling hills and scenic views. The resort also offers a family-friendly environment and nearby mouthwatering restaurants and attractions.

There are some attractions you can walk to easily from here. You are super close to Cameron Square (which is the only mall in the area), a bee farm and a butterfly farm. There is also a Fun Fair on-site, great for younger kids.

The hotel’s rooms feature flatscreen TVs, kitchenettes, free wifi and refrigerators. Free parking is available, and they have a 24-hour front desk. Room types include a 1-bedroom suite Queen, 1-bedroom suite Twin, 2-bedroom Suite, Family Suite, 3-bedroom apartment and a Penthouse.

Some rooms have been renovated and are great. Some have not. Pick a room type that looks nice and modern to be sure you get the former.

This hotel is named after the riot colors of “Garden of Malaysia” an exotic flower native to the country.

Nestled in the quiet corner of Brinchang town, it features 36 elegantly furnished rooms, flatscreen satellite TV, en-suite bathrooms, a minifridge, tea/coffee making facilities and telephone in all Superior and Deluxe rooms.

The hotel is just steps away from restaurants and a quick 5-minute walk from the night market. The strawberry and cactus farms are a 10-minute walk. It’s a convenient location.

If you’re on a tight budget, Rainbow Hotel Cameron Highlands’ is one of the budget-friendly hotels in Brinchang Cameron Highlands Malaysia. It is also conveniently located near cheap eateries in the area.

Worst Parts?

If you’re bringing a car, keep in mind that it’s tough to find parking here. Rooms are also not soundproof, as you can still hear the noise from the street. This is a budget hotel so the rooms reflect that.

Highlanders Hotel Cameron Highlands is a great 2-star hotel in Cameron Highlands located in Tanah Rata town centre and at the very heart of Cameron Highlands.

All rooms (single, double, triple and quad) at this budget hotel have a bathroom attached with a hot shower. The cheaper room types do not have windows so look out for this if you wish to avoid it (or book it if you don’t mind and want to save money).

There’s also free wifi access for guests, an in-house restaurant with great food choices and a 24-hour desk.

The rooms are clean and comfy. The location is strategic. It’s walking distance to the main street and a short 2-minute walk to the bus station.

Worst Parts?
