Need To Know: You must show proof of your scuba diving certification to take this option. If you have not dived in the last 12 months and have less than 20 logged dives, you’ll need to take a Refresher Dive at extra cost. Note this in the booking form so this is included in your quote.

Tioman Dive Resort
Tioman Dive Resort has great resort-style rooms as well as budget-friendly dorm rooms. It’s located in the middle of ABC, near the jetty, so it is easy to get to Tioman Dive Resort.
ABC is a nice bay with a nice beach and quiet village. You will probably spot monkeys and monitor lizards while you are staying here!
While not connected by road to the rest of the island (like most villages on Tioman), you are able to easily walk or ride into Tekek, the main town on the island, thanks to an over-water walkway.
However, you don’t need to leave ABC as there are plenty of eating options right here.
Rooms
The rooms at Tioman Dive Resort are modern and are available in double/twin, triple and quad configurations. Each of the rooms include air-conditioning, fan, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hot water and refrigerator.
It is a quiet, peaceful location, perfect for relaxing, even if you are travelling with a partner who isn’t interested in diving.

There are only eleven rooms in a double storey building and all rooms have access to a balcony seating area.
For budget travellers, there are also dorms for up to five people in a room. This makes this resort a very affordable option as well.
Facilities
There is a beach bar on-site but no restaurant. However, there are several different food options nearby along with shops and other resorts all within easy access.
Breakfast is provided at a nearby restaurant in a basic buffet style.
Washing machines are available so you can wash your own clothes.
There are water dispensers and reusable bottles available for guests.
B & J Diving Centre
The B&J Diving Centre is part of the Tioman Dive Resort – it’s all owned by the same people. They are known as one of the leading PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centres in Asia. Their motto is to provide quality dive experience without cutting any corners – and this is what they do. They have been doing this since 1986.
They are one of the largest dive centres in Malaysia and are a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre. This means they offer all courses from beginner to instructor level.
They have the best diving equipment available (mainly Scubapro) which is serviced regularly. The Bauer compressors used provide the purest air available. They are the only dive centre in Malaysia that’s Bauer Pure Air Certified.
Just in case you still need convincing, B&J Diving Centre also takes environmental protection seriously and are a GoEco operator, GreenFins Member and Project AWARE award winner. They participate in regular clean-up activities and have a strict no-touch policy.
Leisure Dives
This package includes five leisure dives. This is a great way to see amazing coral gardens, swim with a large variety of fish, turtles, sharks and more.
Dive groups are kept small. On average, there are less than four divers per PADI professional.
Boats depart for two dives in the morning at around 8am. These trips head to northern dive sites, usually around Coral Island. There is a surface interval between the dives where you can snorkel or just enjoy the scenery. The two dives always take place at different dive sites. Trips usually return by 1pm
An afternoon boat trip departs around 2pm for a dive site closer to Tioman Island. This could be to a coral reef, a wreck or something else. Trips usually return by 5pm.
There is also the opportunity to dive at night. This can be from a boat or the shore.
To fit in your five dives, be aware of the timing of the dives when you book your ferry to and from Tioman.
